Muhammad Amir is the only bowler at the moment in BPL who is making both his team and the opponents dance while he is bowling. The batsmen are dancing against his lethal seam bowling while his team mates every time he picks up a wicket.
For the second time in three games, Amir finishes up a brilliant first spell with the new ball taking two wickets and giving less runs as well.
His first over cost 5 runs and he picked up Imrul Kayes and now in his second over he gives away four and takes down Liton Das.
Das who already had hit him for a four off his pads should have not played that shot. Das moved forward on that ball and steered it down towards the deep fine leg fence to take his second four against Amir.
There was no need to go for a big hit against Amir on the last ball. It was short, pacey and nasty with the line and length. It came right onto the face of Das and he just pulled it out of nowhere.
His feet were in no position and his head was moving around as a result a top edge took the ball high in the air and straight to the lap of Zia on the leg side and took it easily with his big hands.
Amir takes two in two overs. He has finished his first round with 2 for 9 and what else could have any captain wanted at this stage from his leading fast bowler.
