Yasir Shah picks up another 5 wicket haul and with that he has broken some records for Pakistan as well. He took 6 wickets in the first innings of the second test match and last of them came this morning when he took down Chameera.
Yasir was troubling all the batsmen with his flighted leg spinners and multiple variations which is the reason he has been taking so much wickets in all the formats of the game especially in test cricket.
It was a perfect flighted leg spinner and Chameera’s eyes widen up seeing it. He went for a big blow and this shot was always on the cards and Yasir knew it too.
It was more of a slog sweep and didn’t go well with the ball. The spun and took the bottom edge of the bat and went over the keeper’s head. Younas Khan who was standing in the slips had to run back to catch that one.
It was a hard chance yet Younas went out for it with full commitment and passion and took a neat and clean catch running backwards. These sort of catches are always hard to take yet Younas made it look so easy.
With that wicket Yasir ended up with 6 for 96 while Srilanka ended up with 315 on board with a lead of 177 runs over Pakistan. Yasir once again took the lead from Pakistan and put up a great show.
Now it will be again up the Pakistan batting line up how they counter the Srilankan bowling in the last innings of the match.
